My name is Priti Wadhwa, and I am raising funds for my husband, Amit Wadhwa, who is suffering from Carcinoma tongue (Cancer) and is undergoing treatment at Jupiter sunway Super Speciality Hospital, Noida.
It all started in June 2021, when he underwent major surgery on CA Tongue. He underwent 45 sittings of radiation therapy post-surgery, after which he was relatively normal for some time. In December 2021, there was a reoccurrence of the disease, which started spreading to his right lower lip region.
A lip replacement surgery was conducted to arrest this spread, which was unsuccessful as the disease continued to spread along the left lower lip region and under his chin. The doctor prescribed a chemotherapy regime instead, as further surgery was not advisable. Unfortunately, the Chemotherapy did not yield the desired results. The next logical step was to undergo an advanced treatment, combining Immunotherapy, Chemotherapy, and Radiation. Owing to my husband's already fragile physical and medical condition, his body could not absorb the treatment, which further aggravated the disease.
As his partner, I am emotionally, physically, and financially exhausted due to endless treatment cycles and their associated effects on my family. My husband has been through unimaginable suffering and trauma. We pray to God to end his suffering and grant him relief.
We have spent more than Rs. 20 Lakhs and have exhausted all our personal resources, and we urgently need Rs 15 Lakhs more to further his treatment. We are seeking financial assistance from all kind-hearted people to continue with treatment.
